Reduction headset lower part from 1.5" to 1 1/8".
The name 40.IS52 describes the integrated (also known as drop in) Ahead reduction headset for 1.5 to 1 1/8" conversion and frames with a 52mm inner diameter headtube. The S.H.I.S. denotation (see attachment) of the lower part offered here is IS52/30.
