Nikwax Concentrated Tent & Gear SolarProof®has durable water repellent effect, increases material strength & protects against aging due to UV radiation. Just one application can double the effective life of textiles by protecting against UV damage. The product can be used on wet or dry synthetic fabrics.
Note: For the most effective protection against ultraviolet (UV) radiation and durable water repellent (DWR) protection, Nikwax Concentrated Tent & Gear SolarProof® should be applied to the new finish whenever possible.
Through use, the fabric of the gear absorbs dirt and other contaminants, preventing water from beading off the fabric surface. In this case, the DWR protection can be revived by cleaning with Nikwax Tech Wash® can be revitalized. Over time, the DWR protection wears off through use. Both DWR and UV protection can be refreshed by applying Nikwax Concentrated Tent & Gear SolarProof®.
