Features of the Crankbrothers Iodine 2 EN wheelset

• The Boost variant of the Iodine 2 has a positive effect on its stiffness and stability due to its wider axle. In curves arising lateral forces takes the wheel better. In addition, the greater distance to the chain allows the selection of wider tires.
• Iodine 2 wheels are designed with their low weight and large tire widths (rim 28mm inside | 32.5mm outside) specifically for the needs of all-mountain and enduro riders.
• The "twinpair" spoke design forms triangular structures that provide superior strength and lateral stiffness despite only 24 spokes per wheel. There is only one spoke length, the hooked spokes can be easily changed without disassembling the cassette, freewheel or tire.
• Holeless Rim - the spokes are suspended in pairs on a special rim flange and lead into extended, centerable aluminum nipples, which in turn are stuck in the hub flange. This design allows a waiver of holes in the rim bed, so no rim tape is needed for tubeless setups.
• The wheels are pre-mounted for Boost thru axles (15x110mm front, 12x148mm rear).
• The rear wheel can be converted to the separately available Crankbrothers XD freewheel.
