The Paul Component Touring is a powerful cantilever rim brake with a similar design to the Neo-Retro, but with higher brake levers. This gives the brake a slimmer profile without sacrificing braking power.
The brake arms of the Touring Canti are machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum and their T-shaped cross-section prevents the brake from flexing too much under load.
The brake pads are attached to slots in the arms that allow vertical positioning. Thanks to the spherical washers on the threaded rods of the brake pads, toe-in and angle can be finely adjusted.
The Touring Canti has a sealed pivot point mechanism. Thanks to rubber seals and a stainless steel bushing, the brake arms rotate smoothly, regardless of the conditions. The spring tension can be adjusted in both joints to center the brake and adjust the strength of the return stroke.
