The Vision Trimax 25 KB offers great workhorse wheels for all around use. The wheels have a wide asymmetric rim profile – 20 mm rim depth at front and 24 mm at rear. The Trimax 25 KB wheelset allows for a comfortable ride and is Tubeless Ready. The unique "Interspoke Milling R06" spoke hole drilling system reduces weight, increases acceleration and supports you in climbing. Complete with fully adjustable P.R.A. hubs and aero bladed spokes, these hand built wheels are ready to take you anywhere you want to go. Weighing only 1,380 grams, the Trimax 25 KB wheelset is a great choice for any climber.

P.R.A. hubset

The Preload Reduction Assembly called system applies a preload to the hub bearings via threaded clamps. It provides a bearing adjustment without dismounting. Furthermore the revised hubs are featuring more durable ACB steel-bearings (2 front, 4 rear), a larger drive-side flange and an increased flange width.

PEO coating by Keronite^®

Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is an electrochemical surface treatment process for generating oxide coatings on metals. It is similar to anodizing, but it employs higher potentials, so that discharges occur and the resulting plasma modifies the structure of the oxide layer. This process can be used to grow thick largely crystalline, oxide coatings on metals such as aluminium and titanium. Because they can present high hardness and a continuous barrier, these coatings can offer protection against wear, corrosion or heat as well as electrical insulation.

Note: For all KB rims with the PEO surface treatment, we recommend using the Vision brake pads for aluminum rims (sold separately).
