This is a rain jacket designed in the spirit of the first bike vests and professional alpine flash rain jackets. Say hello to this true friend in need, designed to do only one thing, protect you perfectly and accompany you on every ride thanks to its minimal weight.
The "R. Shell Protection" is made of an all new proprietary 3-layer fabric, the UF 75Shell™. The outer layer is an extremely compact, high-density woven polyamide, while the second layer is made of an avant-garde hydrophobic polyamide membrane with very high breathability (RET 4) and waterproofing of 15,000 mm / l.
Every weak point in the protection of the traditional rain jacket has been aggressively addressed - the collar area is hermetically sealed, all seams that compromise its waterproofing have been moved to the least exposed areas of the jacket and tapered for sealed protection, the wrist cuffs are elasticated, the comfortable fit and easy access to the jersey pockets is guaranteed by two ingenious slits in the back. We've meticulously thought of every single detail to prevent water ingress - the water-repellent zip is covered in waterproof fabric and a reflective waterproof insert on the back keeps the jacket in place.
