Trickstuff Dächle UltraLeicht Disc Brake Rotor 6-Hole

In the meantime the Trickstuff Dächle discs have gained a legendary reputation as extremely powerful brake rotors. Also the Dächle UltraLight rotors feature the helpful chamfer at the outer edge.

The especially developed friction ring with larger breakthroughs weighs little, but is delicate and quiet due to the deliberate hole size. The particularly slender connections which are linked to an extremely stable triangle, also contribute to weight reduction.

All Dächle discs are made of high-quality Japanese stainless steel, are hardened and grinded to a flatness of +/- 0.01 mm.

Advantages of the 60° chamfer

Every cyclist (using disc brakes) knows the problem: First an annoying defect and then the wheel (especially the rear wheel) does not want to be mounted. The reason: The rectangular outer edge of the brake disc collides with the rectangular lower edge of the brake pads (see image 5). The consequence: you fumble, lose time and nerve.

The father to the thought was the repeatedly expressed wish of racing drivers to get a brake disc with a chamfer, a roof-shaped bevel of the outer circumference of the disc. The aim was to be able to reassemble the wheel as quickly and easily as possible after repairing a defect.

Thanks to the rounded 60-degree-chamfer on its outer profile, the TR!CKSTUFF DÄCHLE DISC UL slides into the 2 mm narrow slot between the two brake pads almost automatically.

Note: Due to the outer 60-degree-chamfer, which does not contribute to the friction ring, the rotor builds up to 1 mm in diameter. The vertical space offer with a few brake calipers may not be sufficient for this reason. Please check beforehand.
