The Rohloff Speedhub specific version of the new Storm brake disc features all the technical improvements.
The Rotor geometry was optimized for extreme temperature absorption without deformation. The high quality steel offers perfect friction balance between Magura brake pads and the rotor for maximum braking power under all conditions, even after extremely long and difficult descents. A wide brake surface prevents tipping of the brake pads and optimizes brake modulation without squeaking or brake pad judder. The transitions from brake surface to the spokes and fixing ring have been optimized using latest FEM-calculations, resulting in massive weight reduction at equally high stiffness. Optimized production processes create a zero fault rate and therefore allow further refinements and weight savings without sacrificing strength and durability. Reduced wear compared to old SL rotor.
This is the Rohloff specific version of the Storm Rotor. It does not not fit other hubs than the Rohloff Speedhub with the 4-hole disc mount.
