The Vittoria Rubino Pro was developed for intensive training, but is also suitable for racing. It builds on the standard Rubino platform, uses the 3C Graphene compound and offers the same durability, puncture protection as well as riding characteristics, as the other models. However, a different bead material provides a lighter weight.

Technologies

3C Graphene

This performance compound combines speed, control and durability. The Graphene compound used in the center tread is formulated to minimize rolling resistance and punctures while extending tire life.

Two separate compounds are used in the shoulder area, one at the base and one at the surface. The base compound provides a stable foundation for cornering loads while protecting against cuts in the tread. The surface compound is formulated to provide the necessary grip on both wet and dry surfaces.

Nylon carcass

Nylon is a tough and durable synthetic fiber traditionally used for strong tire carcasses. Nylon threads are thicker than cotton threads, so the carcass has a lower number of threads per inch. The advantage of a nylon carcass is that it is strong, durable and has a longer life. However, because it is a synthetic fiber, it is not as supple as cotton.
