The saddle design of the 6OX ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 mountain bike and E-MTB saddle, inspired by the contour lines in the mountains, is the result of a collaboration with ION. Perfectly matched to the ltd. ION 7OX Pro grips, it combines style and also sets new standards in terms of performance and comfort. Individual fit and optimally tuned ergonomics make the 6OX the perfect companion, up and down the trail.

Perfect fit
The saddle width system enables individual adjustment to anatomical requirements. The SQlab sit bone measurement can be used to precisely determine the optimum saddle width to ensure pressure relief according to medical criteria.

Efficient power transmission
The stepped saddle shape provides support on steep climbs and optimizes power transmission to the pedals.

Maximized comfort and relief
The ergonomic shape and wave-shaped elevation of the ERGOWAVE® reduce pressure in the perineal area and provide additional support on uphill climbs. The flat, slightly curved saddle nose ensures less pressure on sensitive areas.

Back-friendly active technology
The SQlab active saddle technology follows the pedalling motion, increases comfort, mobilizes the intervertebral discs and minimizes pressure on the sit bones.

Reliable Kevlar protection
The robust Kevlar cover additionally protects the saddle in the event of falls and adverse conditions.

Unique ltd. ION design

Optimum fit

In order to accommodate every individual sit bone distance, the 6OX ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 ltd. ION is available in four different saddle widths. The right saddle width guarantees that the sit bones are in full contact with the saddle and that the pressure can be distributed according to ergonomic principles. The sit bone distance can be determined at an SQlab specialist dealer or at home with an SQlab measuring set.

Ergonomics perfectly implemented

Thanks to the support offered by the E-MTB, you can often ride steeper climbs in a seated position. This is where the support of the saddle is particularly important. Sliding back and forth unnecessarily causes additional strain and robs energy that is lost to propulsion. The SQlab stepped saddle shape provides a defined seating position and optimizes power transmission to the pedals.

Back-friendly

The active technology allows the saddle to move sideways as you pedal. This mimics the natural pelvic movement that takes place while walking. This has the advantage that the intervertebral discs are not continuously compressed and exposed to one-sided pressure peaks. Due to the dynamic sitting position, the intervertebral discs are continuously supplied with nutrients and back problems can be prevented.
