The idea for the project ADICTA LAB was born in 2019 at BMC and has inherited the appropriate genes of the Swiss bike manufacturer: Speed, innovation, quality and end-optimized technologies. In addition to the holistic focus on speed, the team quickly recognized a great opportunity: namely to promote and promote sustainability & responsible production conditions in the bike industry. Today, ADICTA LAB is a separate brand within the BMC Group and produces highly functional bike wear in the premium segment, the high-quality technical clothing for cyclists who are as obsessed with biking as the Swiss themselves. ADICTA LAB focuses on technical innovation and a conscious use of resources. Specifically, this means:

• 37.5® Technology: This technology helps you maintain your core body temperature at an optimal 37.5ºC during exertion. Active particles of volcanic sand use infrared energy emitted by the body to wick moisture away from the skin and out of clothing.
• M.I.T.I Green Soul Recycled Polyester: ADICTA LAB uses recycled polyester made from PET plastic bottles. The bottles are ground, melted and turned into chips. This ultimately produces recycled polyester fibers. For example, ADICTA LAB needs only nine 500 milliliter plastic bottles to produce one Alate Jersey. Compared to production with regular polyester, the manufacturer uses less CO2 emissions, less energy and conserves non-renewable energy sources.
• M.I.T.I Green Soul Recycled Polyamide: Recycled polyamide is also used in ADICTA LAB products. This material saves waste from landfill and uses environmentally friendly dyeing and finishing processes. The high-quality fabrics offer excellent breathability as well as moisture management and a compression effect in the area of the leg muscles ensures that you are faster for longer and delays the fatigue of your muscles.

Every year, the foundation supports a new environmental cause. In 2022, the focus was on forests. The Terra Foundation invests in the flora of the earth and plants a tree for every online purchase.
