As a single-track trailer, BOB is particularly suitable for travel use. Unlike low riders and panniers, it virtually does not affect the ride. It is very narrow and follows exactly the driving line of the bicycle. Off-road, its strengths lie in its high load capacity and ease of movement. BOB is designed so that an optimal combination of low center of gravity, stability and sufficient ground clearance allows a load of up to 32 kg.
BOB IBEX offers additional plus points for use in difficult terrain due to the suspension and more ground clearance. Soft suspension for tough tours: BOB IBEX is sensationally suitable for off-road use thanks to its individually adjustable suspension and is gentle on the driver and material. The suspension travel of 7.6 cm is adjustable for 6.8 kg to 32 kg.
The low center of gravity makes traveling with BOB particularly pleasant. The bike is not additionally loaded with weight and is thus also particularly easy to steer with the BOB. The trailer always follows the bike's line of travel exactly. Even on narrow paths and in difficult terrain, BOB stays safely and faithfully on track. YAK and IBEX fit almost all 26", 28" and 29" bikes of the City Touring, MTB, Sport and tandems. The installation is depending on the installation width with the standard quick release included in the scope of delivery (up to 140 mm axle width) or with the quick release BOB QR (145/160 mm), which is available as an accessory. For bikes with solid axles, there is BOB NUTZ for different gear variants. For bikes with thru axles, there are BOB thru axles in different designs. Once mounted, the coupling and uncoupling is done in seconds: Simply hook the drawbar of the trailer right and left into the special receptacles, secure with a metal pin, done!
