Description

Fizik Ergolace 2 GTX Flat MTB Shoes - black/black

Dream big with the Ergolace 2 GTX Flat. A versatile off-road and adventure shoe that combines advanced, waterproof materials with a “go-anywhere” mindset. A reliable companion for every gravel tour, trail ride, or bikepacking trip that fully harnesses the adventure capabilities of flat pedals.

The Ergolace 2 GTX Flat is a lightweight, durable, quick-drying, and waterproof shoe for cyclists who dream of riding far beyond the asphalt. The Ergolace 2 GTX Flat builds on the style of its predecessor but offers a wider fit, a slimmer profile, and a redesigned X2 outsole that provides even greater stability on loose or uneven terrain and better grip on flat pedals.

Live your dream
The Ergolace 2 GTX Flat features a redesigned fit that’s wider in the midfoot, offers more freedom for the toes, and has an overall roomier feel, enhancing comfort during long days on the bike or long stretches of walking.

No More Weather Nightmares
The Ergolace 2 GTX Flat was specifically designed for use in wet weather and features a lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane that provides waterproof and breathable protection to keep you dry without adding weight or bulk. The shoe’s upper is made of a lighter, flat ripstop fabric that dries quickly—ideal for muddy trails or adventures on damp gravel. The width of the PU-laminated panels provides extra protection and durability, while the toe cap is reinforced to shield your feet from rocks and roots.

The Same Support, Only Faster
The closure system is designed to be both ergonomic and asymmetrical so as not to interfere with pedaling on the bike. The latest version of the Ergolace features a robust Speedlace closure system that keeps the foot secure and stable even under the most extreme riding conditions. The Speedlace closure system can be easily locked and released even while riding, offering a convenient way to adjust the fit.

X2 Sole – A Grippy Groove
The redesignedX2Flat sole offers exactly the kind of shoe-to-pedal connection you need for fast trail riding and gravel adventures, combining the highly grippy Vibram XS Ride rubber compound with a particular, zone-specific lug pattern. In the midfoot area, the lugs are lower and have a more regular shape to improve mechanical grip on the pedals; the pedal pins fit better into the grooves of the outsole and keep the shoe secure even on rougher terrain.
