New X2 Sole - A Grippy Groove: The new X2 sole offers exactly the kind of shoe-to-pedal connection you need for fast trail riding and gravel adventues. It combines a grippy Vibram Megagrip rubber compound with a special zone-specific lug pattern. In the midfoot area, lower lugs with a more regular shape are integrated to improve mechanical grip on the pedals; the pedal pins fit better into the grooves of the outsole and lock the shoe securely in place.
