Fizik Transiro Hydra Aeroweave Carbon Triathlon Shoes - Light Violet / Neon Green

Description

Fizik Transiro Hydra Aeroweave Carbon Triathlon Shoes - Light Violet / Neon Green

For efficient pedaling and faster, worry-free transitions.

The Hydra Aeroweave Carbon is a dedicated triathlon racing shoe that combines an innovative second-generation Aeroweave upper with a stiff carbon sole.

Faster Triathlon Transitions
As transition zones become increasingly important—they’re now considered the fourth discipline in every triathlon, whether Ironman or sprint distance—fizik has redesigned its triathlon lineup to meet the demands of serious athletes. The Transiro Hydra features a single hook-and-loop fastener that enables faster, hassle-free transitions, where every mistake can cost crucial time.

Soft, Breathable Fit
The Aeroweave upper ensures maximum breathability. In its second generation, the Aeroweave fabric weaves nylon fibers with filaments made of thermoplastic polymers, making the shoe even lighter without sacrificing its original durability. This provides the necessary strength and support during competition. The new upper is also softer, making it ideal for anyone who likes to ride the bike segment without socks.

Powering Pedals
At the base, the carbon fiber layup of the R2 outsole saves weight and provides increased stiffness—with a stiffness index of 10, this is the most responsive outsole in the fizik lineup. A wide ventilation opening and deep internal channels ensure cooling airflow for temperature regulation. The cleat positioning is slightly further back compared to traditional setups to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce strain on the knees—particularly well-suited for very aggressive, forward-leaning aero positions, such as those typically adopted by triathletes.
