GRX Di2 – Gravel Goes Wireless

With components developed specifically for 1x12-speed drivetrains, the GRX series is making its debut in the field of completely wireless shifting. The focus is on the RD-RX827 rear derailleur, which is based on the wireless models of the XTR-M9250 series.

Shimano also offers the GRX, a component series that is precisely tailored to the requirements of gravel riding. Ergonomic controls, robust technology, and suitable gear ratios ensure control and reliability on gravel and uneven terrain.

GRX RX827 Di2 rear derailleur

The RD‑RX827 is the central element of the new wireless GRX‑groupset. It is technical based on the wireless models of the XTR‑series and offers fast, precise, and quiet shifting for 1x12‑speed drivetrains. The integrated SHADOW ES technology ensures smooth chain guide performance and reliable function on rough terrain thanks to its flat profile and additional stabilization. The robust construction guarantees consistently high shifting performance even under demanding conditions. Thanks to its optimized geometry, the rear derailleur works harmoniously with large cassette ranges and forms the basis for a wide gear range typical for gravel bikes.

GRX RX825 Di2 brake/shift levers

The RX825 brake/shift levers combine wireless Di2 shifting technology with an ergonomic shape designed specifically for gravel riding. The grippy feel, clear button feedback, and finely adjustable braking power offer control and comfort on long tours and demanding routes. Thanks to their compact design and intuitive button layout, the levers fit perfectly into modern flare handlebars and enable safe operation even in technical riding situations.

GRX RX820 crankset

The FC-RX820-1 is a lightweight and stiff single chainring crankset designed for efficient power transfer and high ground clearance. With its optimally matched chainring option, it supports a wide range of gear ratios for steep climbs, fast passages, and changing terrain. The robust construction and precise chain line ensure reliable performance in combination with large 12-speed cassettes, making the crankset a versatile base for modern gravel setups.
