• Powerful and reliable radar: With Garmin's most powerful radar technology to date and a wide field of view, the Varia RearVue 820 StVZO detects vehicles approaching from a distance of up to 175 meters.
• Bright rear light: A bright rear light ensures that you can be seen from distances of up to 350 meters.
• Advanced vehicle detection: The Varia RearVue 820 StVZO detects the size of small, medium and large vehicles. Compatible Edge® cycling computers or the Varia™ app also visually display the passing distance and show you in real time when vehicles behind you change lanes.
• Alerts tailored to your preferences: Connect this radar to the Varia smartphone app, compatible Edge cycling computers, or Garmin smartwatches to receive visual and audible alerts during your rides. In addition to haptic alerts on your wrist, select Garmin smartwatches also offer voice alerts for approaching vehicles. This feature is currently available in Garmin's public beta program for select smartwatches.
