With the Cura Road disc brake caliper, road cyclists and gravel riders can now also experience the performance and reliability that Formula is known for. For greater safety and control, both on and off-road, the proven double-piston construction of the MTB models is used, which is characterized by a powerful, progressive braking force. To keep weight to a minimum, the brake caliper, which is designed with durability in mind, relies on small titanium parts and brake pads with Ergal alloy carrier plates that Formula offers with its known compounds (Organic, Sintered, Long-Life). Also when it comes to bleeding, the Italian premium manufacturer remains true to tried-and-tested by using the same system that applied in previous Cura disc brake models.

Compatibility:

For the Shimano and SRAM-compatible versions, the respective brake hoses must be used. Formula's own brake hoses cannot be utilized. For connecting Campagnolo version, additionally an appropriate kit (FD40026-40) is required. With regard to brake disc size, Formula recommends following the specifications of the fork or frame manufacturer, but does not impose any restrictions itself.
