FLOAT X – Smash Ready
The master of all-mountain suspension. FOX specifically designed the FLOAT X rear shock to meet the demands of aggressive trail riderrs. Accordingly, it features fade-free damping that delivers consistent performance even on the roughest terrain. For the current model, the high-flow main piston assembly has been redesigned to match the suspension performance of the FLOAT X2 rear shock. The results are increased sensitivity, more support and even better rear-wheel traction.
As a representative of the Factory series, this rear shock is of course also packed with features to exceed the expectations of professionals and ambitious amateur athletes. And with the smooth and extremely durable Kashima coating, the versatile air spring damper also knows how to impress visually.

All Terrain Adaptability. The tool-free adjustability allows for quick and easy adaptation to current terrain conditions. The adjustment knob for the low-speed compression and the 2-position lever operate in independent circuits, offering riders both the necessary adjustment options for descents and the convenience of a switch for ascents.
Optimal Weight & Performance. The size-specific piggyback reservoir increases oil volume and provides a second compression circuit for enhanced sensitivity over bumps and improved tire traction. Combined with the large EVOL air chamber, riders benefit from consistent performance even on long descents.
