Despite a ridge height of 1.09 m (10.2 cm higher than before) and a rectangular floor plan (without the usual tapered sides), the FreeLite U24 3 for three people weighs 255 g less than the previous model. The micro-mesh tent fly provides excellent ventilation, while a waterproof tub floor protects against moisture and cold. Two curved-free tent doors allow for entry and exit without disturbing your partner while they sleep. The doors feature new zippers that are more durable and can be operated with one hand. Additionally, the zippers always close in the same spot so that the sliders can be found even in the dark. New bags for all kinds of devices with cable guides at the corners for headphones and charging cables. An overhead gear storage compartment is ideal for headlamps, sunglasses, and more.

The semi-freestanding design of the FreeLite U24 3 tent ensures quick and easy setup. Extra-sturdy DAC-NFL tent poles, a waterproof PFAS-free coating, and sealed seams keep moisture from entering the tent. The open-weave fly saves weight and features large vestibules with plenty of storage space for gear. The practical, wide vestibule doors feature a StayDry™ rain gutter that channels water away from the tent.
