State-of-the-art LED technology from AMS OSRAM

At the heart of the Rotlicht Pro BT are a total of 22 Synios LEDs from AMS OSRAM. These emitters were developed specifically for the automotive sector and form the perfect foundation for the new taillight thanks to an innovative 360-degree beam pattern. As a result, the LEDs provide exceptionally uniform illumination. In combination with the lens, the Rotlicht Pro BT shines with absolute uniformity, producing an unrivaled, even light in a rich red hue.

Robust design meets smart technology

Like all Lupine products, the Rotlicht Pro features a CNC-machined Alutec housing (6061-T6) and is IPX6 waterproof and IK09 impact-resistant. The specially developed Frosted Optic lens not only ensures a distinctive design but also provides lateral light dispersion that makes the rider visible from all sides. Intelligent sensor technology - with automatic brightness control and an integrated brake light sensor—further enhances safety on every mile.

Up to 120 lumens

Another advantage of OSRAM’s new LED generation is its tremendous brightness, enabling the Rotlicht Pro BT to produce up to 120 lumens. This ensures the best possible visibility on the road, as every user is immediately visible even in hectic city traffic. 

Smart sensors for maximum safety

Of course, the new Rotlicht Pro BT also features smart sensors that significantly simplify handling and optimize safety. The integrated brake light sensor ensures that the brightness increases instantly when decelerating or stopping the bicycle - just like with cars or motorcycles. A brightness sensor is built in to automatically turn on the taillight when darkness sets in. The Rotlicht Pro BT then switches on automatically.

Up to 10 hours of runtime and a USB-C connection

The new Rotlicht Pro can be easily charged via an integrated USB-C port, ensuring it’s quickly ready for use anytime, anywhere, should the 840 mAh rechargeable battery ever run out. The taillight can then be charged in just 2 hours and will shine for up to 10 hours.
The current charge level is briefly displayed via the LEDs on the outer light ring when the Rotlicht Pro is turned on. This makes it easy to see when the taillight needs to be charged.
