Description

Giant PROPEL ADVANCED 2 - Carbon Road Bike - 2027 - white

Composite Aero: A Streamlined Road Bike

Get the most out of your hard-earned pedal power. Whether you want to pick up speed on solo rides or shine in a group—with the new, lighter, and smoother Propel Advanced, anyone can experience the thrill of speed on the road.

Highlights of the Giant PROPEL ADVANCED 2 - Carbon Road Bike

  • The frame is lighter than the previous generation and offers higher torsional and pedaling stiffness—so you feel an immediate response when you hit the gas.
  • Carbon in the frame, fork, and seatpost keeps the weight down.
  • The Vector seatpost is more flexible than the previous generation’s, while the fork and integrated cockpit absorb bumps and vibrations up front.
  • The aero wheelset with patented Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology and tubeless tires offers outstanding efficiency.
  • The Shimano 105 groupset enables reliable shifting across 2x12 gears.
  • Accommodates tires with a width up to 32mm.
  • Custom-made aero bottle cages for the down tube and seat tube help minimize drag.

Technologies of the Giant PROPEL ADVANCED 2

  • Advanced Composite Technologie - GIANT’s high-performance carbon fiber is used to manufacture this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed at the GIANT factory and features an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer woven composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability, or stiffness.
  • AeroSystem Shaping Technology - Using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel data, engineers optimize every tube shape to deliver superior aerodynamics.
  • OverDrive Aero - The D-shaped steerer tube and corresponding spacers are located inside the steerer, providing an extremely aerodynamic, easier-to-maintain system with internally routed brake and shift cables.
  • Tubeless System - Fewer flats. Better traction. Lower rolling resistance. GIANT’s Tubeless System makes installation easier and enhances the riding experience.
  • Aero Handlebar/Stem - Reduces air resistance while minimizing weight.
  • Vector Seatpost - This lightweight and highly aerodynamic seatpost was specifically designed for road riding.
