MAURTEN Addition is a “Palate Reset.” It was developed to give athletes the option to enhance Drink Mix 320 or 160 or Gel Mix 480 with a flavor. Repeated consumption of carbohydrate energy drinks—even those with a neutral flavor—can lead to flavor fatigue. Symptoms may include a lack of motivation to stick to a planned nutrition plan, nausea, or an impaired sense of taste. For athletes affected by taste fatigue, this can lead to reduced energy intake and an energy deficit. • Additives are not food supplements. Additions offer the option to add flavor to the otherwise tasteless MAURTEN product. They can be used to create sensory variety without compromising the hydrogel’s function.
• UseMAURTEN Addition in combination with Drink Mix 160, Drink Mix 320, Drink Mix 320 CAF 100, or Gel Mix 480.
• One packet of Addition is intended to be mixed with one packet of Drink Mix —however, athletes can use more or less depending on their preference.
• One packet contains: 1.6–1.9 g of carbohydrates, 7–8 calories.

Directions

• Pour a small amount of water into the bottle.
• Add your preferred serving of Additions and shake the bottle gently.
• Fill the bottle with water up to 500 ml.
• Drink Mix Or add “ Gel Mix ” directly to the bottle.
• Shake well until the Drink Mix or Gel Mix has completely dissolved and there are no more lumps or residue.
• Consume this product as part of your planned nutrition strategy
