ax-lightness SELECTION 35CX - Durable full-carbon clincher wheelset for gravel, cyclocross, and extreme sprints.
ax-lightness has leveraged its many years of experience in carbon wheel construction to develop the new carbon rims of the SELECTION series. The SELECTION wheel series offers outstanding performance at a fair price-performance ratio.

The SELECTION 35CX impresses with a balanced combination of weight, stiffness, and aerodynamics. The 35 mm rim height, combined with the wide 30 mm outer contour (24 mm inner rim width), makes it the ideal companion for fast gravel and cyclocross races. Weighing just 1180g, it is one of the lightest wheelsets in its class. Sapim CX-Ray knife spokes in a double-cross pattern and external spoke nipples facilitate maintenance. The wide rim also allows the tires to expand fully, thereby increasing performance and comfort compared to narrower rims. The rim width is optimized for road tires with a width of 28 mm or more.

The wheelset is delivered tubeless ready, allowing for easy installation of tubeless-compatible tires. Of course, the wheelset can also be used with inner tubes. The black matte UD finish, combined with the black laser-etched ax-lightness logo, completes the high-quality look of the wheelset. The in-house ax-lightness disc hubs with ratchet freewheels and Enduro bearings are designed for long-term racing use.

The weight, including tubeless rim tape, is just 1180 grams (±5%), making the SELECTION 35CX Disc the ideal all-rounder for endurance and gravel riding.
