Thicker wall, made for long distances.

The GT uses TPU with a thicker wall than the Performance road bike tube. The result is significantly better puncture and cut resistance—exactly the safety margin that counts when you’re 100 km from home and a flat tire would end your day.

46–49 g, depending on valve length.

That’s about half the weight of a comparable butyl inner tube—still a significant reduction in rotating mass and pack volume, with durability you’d expect from much heavier inner tubes.

Holds pressure, and you can really feel it.

TPU doesn’t “creep” at high air pressure like butyl does. You get a stable, consistent ride feel over long distances—less frequent re-inflation, no gradual loss of pressure while riding.

Patented aluminum valve with removable valve core.

If the valve core ever loosens or develops a leak—it can be fixed in 60 seconds with a valve tool. No new inner tube needed. The valve is also compatible with standard extensions for high-profile rims.

Fully welded, not glued.

Eclipse’s patented welding process eliminates the seam—historically the most common weak point in TPU inner tubes. Backed by strict in-house quality controls before anything is shipped.

Packs down extremely small.
