Quite simply, cycling shorts.
These are simply cycling shorts. Designed for anyone who doesn’t want to give up cycling even in winter—this jacket covers the widest possible temperature range, from cool days to sub-freezing temperatures, when you’d rather opt for comprehensive wind protection. It looks deceptively simple, but behind the clean lines lies a wealth of technology. The trousers are made from three different materials to provide optimal coverage for each area of the body. The material on the front—from the waist to the knee—is Castelli’s “Core Due” fabric, a densely woven, heavier polyester-nylon blend that effectively blocks the wind.
The polyester layer lies directly against the skin and ensures active moisture-wicking, and the yarns are hollow-core, meaning the air pocket in the center provides additional insulation. On the back of the thighs and the seat, a highly stretchy fleece material ensures an optimal fit. From the knee to the ankle, Castelli’s Thermoflex offers perfect warmth and elasticity, and the single seam on the inner leg prevents chafing around the knee. The cycling tights feature a flat, raw-cut hem at the ankle, drop-tail straps, and the KISS Air2 seat pad.

- Extreme comfort for rides in cool to cold weather, with a partially wind-resistant panel on the front for an extended range of temperatures
- The front section of Castelli’s “Core Due” fabric (extending to the knees), with its tightly woven nylon outer layer and an inner layer of polyester hollow-fiber fleece, provides greater wind resistance while offering excellent insulation and moisture management
- Lower leg area made from Castelli’s warm Thermoflex fleece
- Seat area and back of the legs feature 3D knit fabric for excellent stretch and comfort
- The KISS Air2 seat pad provides excellent damping without excessive bulk
- Unfinished ankle openings
- Stretch straps with an extended back for comfort and convenient bathroom breaks
