To deliver the performance you need, the Forge 30 wheels from Newmen feature the extremely durable rim profile found on the Beskar high-end models. In exchange, a slightly modified selection of materials is used, but without unnecessarily increasing the weight. Various versions make the Forge family a solid choice for every application, whether XC, Trail, Enduro or Downhill.

The high-quality aluminum rims feature a pin joint construction and achieve top marks in terms of impact resistance and dent resistance thanks to their extensively tested design. With an inner width of 30 mm, they are ideally suited for tire widths ranging from 2.3 to 2.6 inches as well as for riding with low tire pressure. In addition, the flat rim profile gives the tires a rounder shape, resulting in better cornering grip. Also when it comes to the hubs, the Forge 30 wheels rely on proven technology by using the Fade MTB models. Only high-quality bearings are used in these lightweight yet reliable hubs, while the housing is reinforced at critical points with additional material. On the rear hub, three pawls, a newly developed tooth profile and an enlarged freewheel diameter ensure optimal, smooth and quiet power transfer. Reliability is also a top priority with the Sapim Race spokes. These are easy to maintain and not too heavy. Spokes you don’t have to worry about.

Light, Base, Strong or DH?

To offer the perfect wheel for every riding style, Newmen has developed four rim variants: Light, Base, Strong and DH. While the rim profile remains the same, the wall thickness varies. This allows for weight savings on the front wheel which experiences slightly less stress, while the rear wheel features increased stability. Depending on the intended use, the following combinations are recommended:
