Sintered metal brake pads with steel backing plates for all SRAM Guide and Avid Trail disc brakes.

Metal pads offer higher braking performance than organic pads. They also wear down more slowly. However, they tend to squeak in wet conditions and generate higher thermal loads on the brake.
