Shimano Metrea BR-U5000 Hydraulic Disc Brake Caliper - Flat Mount - rear

The Metrea was designed with the aim of developing very specific Urban Sports bikes that set the standard in terms of comfort for daily commuting as well as for stylish leisure cycling. Its components, in addition to its attractive, unique appearance, have been optimized to be best suited to the realities of urban cycling, such as an upper body angle between 60° and 45° that combines high maneuverability with high comfort.

The name itself is derived from the terms "Metropolitan" and "Real". Behind it lies the key concept underlying the Urban Sport category: the optimum balance of function and exclusivity, of everyday suitability and high-quality material use.

The BR-U5000 flat mount brake calipers provide an attractive, stylish look and can be combined with the Metrea SM-RT500-SS brake discs and the BL-U5000 brake levers.
