Tune DC 100 / DC 130 Road Quick Release Set with Titanium Axle - different colors

Since their presentation on the occasion of the company's 20th anniversary, the DC quick-release skewers have undergone continuous further development. Thanks to improved ergonomics and a cylindrical eccentric, their clamping force is on a par with the AC clamps despite their lower weight. A ball with a lever is embedded in a kind of "socket" in which the axle head is mounted eccentrically. The tensioner can be opened and closed using the patent-pending carbon lever. Although they are so light, the DC quick-release skewers are not subject to any weight restrictions and can be ridden without hesitation. Their extremely slim design without sharp edges makes them safe and minimizes the risk of injury. They are specified with a titanium axle.

Lubricants are usually sticky and like to bind dirt. Tune therefore uses a patent-pending dry lubrication method for the exposed and moving parts of the new series of DC tensioners. Here, the solid lubricant molybdenum disulphide (similar to graphite) is embedded in a coating. After a mud fight, unlike a bicycle chain, the aim is not to lubricate but rather to clean. The bonded coating used not only ensures long-lasting lubrication, but also allows the lever to be adjusted, even when closed. Gone are the days when the quick-release had to be laboriously fixed in place. The DC quick-release levers can be easily closed and then rotated to the desired position.
