Sapim Polyax Brass Nipple 2 mm - Secure Lock

Sapim Polyax brass nipples are nickel treated to increase corrosion resistance. The head's special form allows higher spoke angles preventing bends. The nipples have a 2 mm thread for rims with Ø 3.5 mm holes.

Sapim's patented Secure Lock technology is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening. The advantages of this easy locking system are the possibility to use them on a truing machine and that there is no loose function while truing the wheel. Highly precise and accurate machines have specifically been developed to produce this type of locking system. They ensure stable and well defined deformation on the thread and increase the nipple's torsion about 18 cNm (+/- 3 cNm).
