The Canti Lever from Paul Component Engineering is a short-pull brake lever for brake calipers that require a correspondingly short lever travel. In addition to the eponymous Cantilever brakes, this also includes brake calipers with central or lateral actuation (Center-Pull and Side-Pull) as well as mechanical disc brake calipers. They are manufactured to exacting quality criteria directly at Paul Components in Chico, California.
The Canti is one of the smoothest, stiffest and strongest brake levers on the market. This is made possible by the use of high-quality alloys from American production, precise tolerances during production and the use of double-sealed cartridge bearings for the pivot. In addition, the model features two oversize barrel adjuster screws that allow fine adjustment of brakes and reach.
