Many professional riders have expressed safety concerns about the use of disc brakes on road bikes in the last season, which is why the UCI has decided to suspend the testing of disc brakes in the Pro Peloton. Although there is no real safety concern on Hope's part, the engineers have developed a road bike specific disc brake to allay any fears riders may have.
Floating brake disc with laser-cut friction ring and rounded edges for Hope hydraulic disc brakes. Suitable for hubs with 6-hole mount.

The Hope floating brake discs are a visual highlight on every bike. Besides the beautiful, individual look, the aluminium carrier increases the stiffness of the entire disc, minimises the weight and improves heat dissipation. Thus, the disc can expand and contract in heat without being deformed.
