Dietary supplement: Carbohydrate gel for use during sports

GU Energy Gel contains energy-rich calories in a portable packet to meet energy needs during any duration or activity. The 100-calorie packet contains carbohydrates (maltodextrin and fructose) that use non-competing pathways to maximize carbohydrate absorption and utilization while reducing stomach discomfort. The primary electrolyte (sodium) supports hydration by maintaining water balance. The branched-chain amino acids (L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine) may also reduce mental fatigue and decrease muscle damage.

Recommended use

GU Energy Gels Designed for endurance sports, but can be used whenever you need energy for a workout, regardless of the type of exercise. GU recommends taking one energy gel 5 minutes before activity and every 45 minutes during exercise. In addition, 750 to 1000 ml of fluid should be consumed per hour. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. The product must be kept out of the range of small children. Store in a cool, dry place.
