Woolpower Liner Classic Socks - black

The Liner Classic is a flat knitted mid-high sock with elastane for a comfortable fit from Woolpower's LITE collection. The sock consists mainly of merino wool. Merino wool has basically the same properties as normal wool, but has the advantage of not being itchy. The seams of the socks are flat, so they won't bother you when walking.

Details of the Woolpower Liner Classic socks

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. About ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as the average sheep. This makes the wool thinner and longer, very soft to the touch and non-scratchy. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their coat is thermo-regulating. This means that merino wool keeps you warm in the cold, but breathes well. Merino wool also has an excellent moisture-regulating and self-cleaning effect, so you won't suffer from sweat stains and odors on your clothes as quickly.
