Ritchey WCS C220 84D Stem 31.8 - 1 1/4 Inch - Blatte Black

The WCS C220 features the same performance-oriented design as the C260, but thanks to improved clamps, it can be installed and removed more easily and quickly.
Version for 1 1/4" steerer tubes.

First introduced on the Ritchey Trail stem, the patented 220-degree handlebar clamp now securely holds the handlebars in place on the C220 as well. Loads are distributed across the entire stem body, as if the entire stem were holding the handlebars—a particular advantage with lightweight handlebars. Furthermore, this allows for a lighter clamp plate and a lower overall weight without compromising strength or stiffness. To further reduce weight, the stem body is made of 2014 aluminum. Premium Cr-Mo steel screws ensure the best possible stability. Flip-flop mounting is possible, and the handlebars can still be installed without removing the grips.

Important:
Be sure to install the stem using a torque wrench! Maximum tightening torque: 5 Nm.
