Integrated Ritchey Logic-E 1 1/8 inch Drop In headset upper for road Di2 hosting. Compatible with frame headtubes 1-1/8” (IS42/28.6) and optimized with Bar Logic-E. Streem II WCS Carbon and WCS alloy and Comp bars drilled for Di2 junction box are also compatible with Logic-E.

Logic-E Integration Kit:

The Logic-E Integration Kit was designed to allow Shimano Di2 and STEPS cables to be concealed from view and from the wind while protecting them from damage. Tom Ritchey designed a unique system that allows the cables to be run internally from the stem into standard frames without requiring the frame or fork to be modified. A flexible, adhesive, cable guide included with Logic-E headset, allows routing of Shimano cable under stem to top cap. The Di2 Integration Kit is compatible with any Ritchey stem. Thus, a wide variety of handlebars can be used.

Ahead-headset building classes:

Ahead-headsets are divided into the "classical" building class, the semi integrated "Press Fit" and the full integrated "Drop In" headsets. The "classical" version has a bearing which is located outside the steerer tube. "Press Fit" and "Drop In" headset bearings are located inside the steerer tube which results in a lower stack height. In contrast to "Press Fit" headsets "Drop In" headsets don't have to be pressed in. The bearing rests directly on the angled (36° or 45°) surface of the steerer tube. The most common "Drop In" versions are called "Drop In Campy" for Campagnolo Hiddensets and "Cane Creek".
