Excellent
I like to copy the other reviewer's words: "For the 8-speed transmission, this chain is probably the best choice". One could decide to pay a few euros more and go silver instead of this silver/grey option, but I'd say don't bother if you do care to maintain your bicycle frequently enough; if so, the silver version isn't really going to prevent chain wear (read: 'stretching').

Ever since I started to use KMC chains, I never bothered to look back at Shimano chains! What I find a nice extra is, that I can just use my bare hands to connect both ends via the missing link; no tool needed when installing!
Good
For the 8-speed transmission, this chain is probably the best choice. I use them for over 4 years (three new chains every season) and they are much better than KMC Z82 (each lasts ca. 1000 km). The missing link from the old chains could be used as a spare part or in a repair kit during a ride.
