Nordisk Voss 9m² SI Tarp - Forest Green

Voss SI series tarps are lightweight, very durable and flexible in use. They are available in three different sizes 9, 14 and 20 m². Several tarps can be connected to each other if necessary. The rectangular cut allows for a variety of guy lines in any weather and in almost any environment. The tarp has various reinforced guy points on the sides and on the loops in the fabric. They can be set up using the Nordisk Helmet Slide, hiking poles, guy lines or similar. Voss SI Tarps can be used freestanding. This creates additional, protected storage space. Depending on the shape and size of the tarp, it can also be used as a tent extension.

The story behind the name

Voss is a municipality in the province of Hordaland, Norway. Here, nature offers both high mountains and rich, fertile valleys with large coniferous forests and extensive floodplains that are home to over 155 species of birds. In Norse, Vǫrs means "wave" or "sea." Today, Voss is known mainly as a winter sports resort that has produced many famous world-class athletes in biathlon and alpine skiing.
