For the assembly and disassembly of the lock nut on the Bosch-Electric motor of the 4th generation / BDU 4 - Bike Drive Unit 4 .

The assembly tool has an integrated guide, this is firmly screwed to the motor axis. This guarantees a secure, slip-free fit and the possibility of one-hand operation. The assembly tool is then positively connected to the teeth of the lock nut by means of a pull-turn mechanism. This enables the tight-fitting assembly tool to transmit the required high torques when loosening and tightening the lock nut. This is not least due to the toothing used. This has a wider, larger tooth form than was previously common.

For operation we recommend the "snap-in" holder (Art. No. 7202750) from Cyclus Tools. The special handle arrangement provides the greatest possible safety when working. Alternatively, the assembly tool can be used with a 32 mm wrench.

When tightening the lock nut, please pay attention to the torque specified by the manufacturer, use a 3/8" torque wrench (Cyclus Tools item no. 720115).
