Durability

As long as you keep the sealant in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and with the lid on tight, the sealant will not expire. Muc-Off recommends shaking the sealant well before each use.

Directions for use:

For tubes with a Schrader valve:

  • Remove the dust cap from your valve and deflate your tire, then turn your bike so that your valve is between the 9 and 12 o'clock positions.
  • Twist the plastic tube and pull it up from the top of the cylinder.
  • Remove the black valve core removal tool from the top of the hose, then pull the valve core off the valve stem. (Insert the two-prong tool into the top of the Schrader valve and unscrew it counterclockwise to pull the core out. Keep your valve core safe while filling!)
  • Now put the end of the filling tube on the valve stem and press lightly with the bottle down to dispense the desired amount of sealant into the valve. Make sure the sealant flows smoothly into the valve. (Fill the recommended amount for your hose using the dispensing scale on the side of the bottle).
  • Remove the fill tube from the valve and wipe away any remaining sealant.
  • Replace the valve core with the tool and tighten it clockwise until it is firmly seated and inflate the tire to the desired pressure according to your manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Give your bike a spin and you're good to go!

For tubes using a Presta valve:

  • If you are adding No Puncture Hassle inner tube sealant to a Presta valve, you must first verify that you have a removable valve core. (Not all Presta valve cores are removable).
  • You can check if your Presta valve has a removable core by determining if the sides of the valve core have a flat edge. Presta valves with a non-removable core do not have flat edges.
  • If they do have flat edges, you can remove the core with a Presta valve core removal tool or thin needle nose pliers by unscrewing the core counterclockwise until it comes out of the valve stem. Keep your valve core safe during filling!
  • Now put the end of the fill tube onto the valve stem and turn your bike so that your valve is in the 6 o'clock position. With the bottle upside down, gently squeeze the bottle to dispense the desired amount of sealant into the valve.
