The X2 two-piston disc brake by Hope has been completely redesigned. The caliper is CNC machined from a single piece of 2014 T6 aluminum. The brake offers a perfect combination of high braking power, low weight and optimal adjustability and is therefore particularly suitable for cross country and light freeride use.
The filigree X2 caliper is the result of optimization using COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software. Which increased the piston diameter to transfer more braking force to the brake disc. The sealed bleed nipple makes for easier maintenance and the wider protruding line outlet simplifies line routing. For easy handling, the brake pads can be mounted from above. For a super noble look and long durability, the brake is completely anodized and provided with lasered Hope logos.
