Reverse Components Steerer Clamp 1 1/8" - black

The Reverse Components Steerer Clamp Spacer is a headset spacer with an additional clamping function. It is placed under the stem instead of the normal 10mm spacer. It generates additional clamping forces to avoid "loose" headsets. It is also super useful when you are working on your bike.

Let's say you have your bike in an assembly stand and you want to remove the stem and handlebars. The spacer will still fix everything even without the stem and the fork cannot fall out. It is also very useful when you are out and about. It is also very useful when you are on the road, when you put your bike in the back of a car/van with other bikes and you need to twist the handlebars for transport. Everything remains secured and the headset does not become loose. Also ideal for air travel when you have to pack your bike into a bike case.
