The Shimano Deore XT SL-M8130 shift lever achieves smooth and reliable shifting performance thanks to LinkGlide technology. Its fast response ensures smooth shifting and optimal control on aggressive Trail rides. The adaptable ergonomics also benefit controllability.

Proven features such as Rapidfire Plus, 2-Way and Instant Release are of course also on board with the M8130 shift lever. The right shift lever allows two gear changes with the main lever or the secondary lever in both directions. The Deore XT shifter is suitable for 11-speed drivetrain systems and matched to the E-Bike components of the Shimano STePS EP800 series.

Instant Release enables faster gear changes. The cable is released immediately when the lever is pressed. You can shift faster than before.

2-Way Release allows you to release the cable by pushing it with your thumb or pulling it with your index finger. So you don't have to adapt your riding style to the rear derailleur, but the rear derailleur adapts to your riding style.

LinkGlide

LinkGlide enables smoother, smoother pedalling and gear changes that are barely noticeable. The drivetrain is exceptionally durable, withstands daily wear and tear and provides long-lasting good shifting and pedalling performance, especially for multi-purpose bikes and high-torque E-Bikes.

The optimised design of the LinkGlide shift aids provides a smoother transition between sprockets to avoid jumps that can affect shifting and a rounded pedal. The redesigned LinkGlide sprockets themselves feature a much stronger base and a unique chamfer that dramatically improves wear resistance in high torque applications.
