The FSA Gradient i29 WideR wheelset uses robust carbon rims that guarantee low weight and high stiffness at the same time and thus represent the perfect choice for demanding MTB disciplines like All Mountain, Enduro and Trail.

FSA's expertise in carbon manufacturing processes combined with the asymmetric profile of the hookless Tubeless rims as well as the high-quality Boost hubs guarantee extremely high strength without compromising on weight. The hubs are equipped with Centerlock brake disc mounts and the innovative PRA system (Preload Reduction Assembly) for easy adjustment of the bearing preload by fine-tuning its collar. 

The connection between the rim and the hub is made by double butted spokes in a double crossed pattern, locked by brass nipples. 24 spokes per wheel keep the rotating mass low and guarantee in combination with the 7 cartridge bearings smooth rolling characteristics, while the rear hub's 6-pawl freewheel ensures quick engagement.
