Perfect blend of long-sleeved jersey and compact softshell jacket, with improved thermal protection, reflective stripes and integrated ventilation mechanism.
For when the combination of a warming short-sleeved jersey, arm warmers and vest is not enough for training in cold spring and fall weather: the brand new EQUIPE RS Spring/Fall jacket. Although it looks similar to the Spring/Fall Aero jersey, it has a much warmer inner fabric for additional insulation.
Features of the Assos EQUIPE RS TARGA Spring/Fall cycling jacket for men
- The front of the jacket is mainly made from a combination of the Push Pull summer jersey fabric and a highly insulating Rhombus lining. The result of the union of these two fabrics has the elastic, breathable and aerodynamic properties of a standard racing jersey, plus heat-retaining insulation. The open-edged, full-length sleeves are made from our highly elastic ribbed fabric, SONIC-SN, which fits like a second skin and has a brushed inside for additional thermal protection.
- Two reflective 'vents' at the front of the shoulders provide ventilation by drawing air inwards from the outside and distributing it between the two layers of fabric in the jacket. When you're riding at top speed in a crouched position but still crave body cooling airflow, unzipping isn't always the best option. With this design, Assos has found a solution to the problem: Benefit from a regulated body temperature without having to sacrifice aerodynamics.
- twinDeck: The two-layer fabric design optimizes insulation by combining the Push Pull and Rhombus textiles. It is used on the front and upper back.
- Diffusor: A sewing technique unique to ASSOS creates two "valves" on the front of the shoulders that allow cool air to flow in and out for additional ventilation.
- Double-Slider Zipper: Zipper with opening/closing lock that can be opened in two directions and has an anchor at the end for stabilization - for easy, one-handed operation.
- Triple Ramp Pockets: Three fabric-covered pockets, which are easily accessible thanks to their ideal positioning, are color-coded and feature a micro-perforated sealed tape for increased visibility.
