G1 Gyro – For Endless Barspins

The MTB-specific gyro system from Title prevents the brake cables from twisting, allowing the handlebar to rotate freely – for endless "barspins". A machined Delrin bushing not only ensures less friction, but also greater wear resistance.

Compatibility notes:

For the best possible function, the manufacturer recommends the use with aluminum and steel frames that feature a pressed-in headset top cup. If the frame does not have this, the necessary compatibility can be achieved with the help of gyro tabs (not included). It may be necessary to adapt the tabs to the lower width of the "gyro" (small: 69 mm / large: 74 mm).

For proper installation, the head tube of the frame must have an additional 20 mm clearance. It is also recommended to keep the bushing lightly lubricated at all times. Optimum results can be achieved in combination with the G1 brake lever and the G1 cable set (each not included). The mechanical brake caliper should be a racing bike-specific model (see video).

The use of a caliper gauge is recommended for the exact determination of the head tube diameter.
