Details of Favero Assioma Duo-Shi pedal axle with sensor.

Installation in the Shimano® pedal body
Installing Assioma DUO-Shi into your own compatible Shimano® pedal bodies* is quick and easy. Check out the video installation instructions on the cycling.favero.com website.

*Compatible Shimano® pedal bodies
Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the following Shimano® pedal bodies: PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PDR550 and PD-R540.

Increased Q-factor?
The Q-factor of the Assioma Look® version is +54mm, while the Q-factor of the Assioma DUO-Shi is +64mm with PD-R7000/R550/R540 pedal bodies and +65mm with PD-R8000/6800.
Despite initial concerns about increasing the q-factor, Favero decided to move forward with the project because body size (height, pelvic width, etc.) is a subjective factor that helps determine the best q-factor for each of us. A final positive feedback from beta testers finally validated the product.

IAV Cycling Dynamics Assioma offers advanced metrics called IAV Cycling Dynamics: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These metrics, combined with the classic performance data, allow a detailed analysis of your pedaling technique and how your position on the bike affects performance.

IAV Power and Gyroscope
Unlike other meters, Assioma's measurement is not affected by errors caused by a very irregular pedaling motion (such as uphill sprints) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma is able to determine the actual instantaneous angular velocity throughout the pedal stroke, ensuring ±1% accuracy under all conditions. Not just in the lab.

Bluetooth and ANT+
Assioma communicates with bike computers and smartphones (both Android and iOS) via Bluetooth and ANT+.

Accuracy and consistency
Assioma guarantees accurate and consistent data in all conditions on the road and at any temperature between - 10°C and 60°C, thanks also to ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation).

Waterproof, resistant and lightweight
Assioma is the lightest pedal-based power meter on the market. Thanks to its compact design, it does not interfere with pedaling, even in curves. The power sensors are protected by a two-component resin block that is extremely shock resistant and completely waterproof.

Rechargeable and environmentally friendly

Assioma is the only pedal power meter for the road with integrated rechargeable batteries; a single charge guarantees at least 50 hours of use.

Tested and guaranteed
Favero Electronics manufactures each power meter in-house and thoroughly tests it to fully meet the standard required by current regulations.

Notice:

The replacement pedal adapters with sensor are each available as a right and left version. The battery charger and charger adapters are not included.
