The dimensions (in mm) for the mudguard and the tire refer to a common 28" trekking bike and are values for orientation.

The tidy, stylishly confident optics of the carrier are due to its internal cabling and the accommodation of all of the electronics in a housing. Oval tubes finish off the refined appearance of the carrier, also providing the basis for top stability. As well as providing attractive aesthetics, this acts as protection against the influences of harsher rides.
