The Bottom Bracket Press Essential Kit is an indispensable tool for the professional bicycle workshop. The tool sets of the Essential series contain everything it takes to to get a specific job done correctly.
The BP0006 tool set was developed for pressing in all common bottom brackets and replaces the Press-7 kit. In addition to the press-in tool itself, consisting of a zinc-plated threaded rod and aluminium handles, the set includes various bearing press adapters (drifts). Thanks to their multi-step manufacturing process, the adapters, made of anodised aluminium, are suitable for a wide range of bottom bracket and bearing diameters. Conversely, the drift adapters can also be used accordingly to determine the bottom bracket size.
The threaded rod with 1/2" diameter (UNC / Unified Coarse Thread) cannot be bent, so the bearing cups can be aligned and pressed in straight without any problems. Compatible with a maximum bottom bracket shell width of 132 mm.
